That's My Boy

Just that I would post some of the
 funny things Kash has done lately:

* likes to sing Carrie Underwoods
 "Un-do-it" song LOL

* wants to listen to "If I were a boy" by Beyonce in the car over and over

* LOVES this plain jane green four-wheeler that he stole from

 Rich and Tanna's house after they moved

* LOVES EVERYTHING about toy story the movie, in fact we

watch it at least once a day...aaahhhh, and can you imagine
he is gonna be buzz lightyear for Halloween :)

* can say NO really well :( (maybe thats not so funny)

* says I LOVE YOU so stinkin cute

* try's so hard to sleep in mommy daddy's bedda

Infertile Mertile

Lately this has been on my mind, and maybe even more because I am so ready for another baby but at the same time so nervous!!! I have never done a post like this...talking about something that is so personal to me.

SO, here it goes. I hate so badly that Kyle and I can't just have a baby of our own. To want something so much and you can't get it just sucks. We have been married 7 years and 6 of those years I have been without any birth control. I remember thinking that after the first year of being married we would "try" for a baby. Months went by and only disappointment. I remember feeling angry and jealous when I would see a woman pregnant and wanting the same thing so bad. The crying month after month. The bitterness towards couples who were gonna have babies. And then the just not caring anymore stage.

So who says you have to give birth to be a mom. Who says you have to have children of your own, to love a child like its your own. Well, I say that our special guy Kash is the best thing that has ever happened to us. That if we had a choice to have our "own" or have him...it so would be him over and over. I love that I get to be a mom. I love that we got the chance to be so blessed to have him in our lives.

So last but not least, I'm so nervous about never getting to have another baby. Kyle and I can't just say, "ok in 9 months from now lets have a baby." I know, at least I think I know or hope to have the chance to have more children.

The experiences we have had through this infertile mertile stuff has brought amazing things into our lives. We so would not change anything about how we started our family. We have been blessed with such a great little guy. He will always be number one, even if we get number two, number three and who knows maybe one day Kyle and I will get to experience a pregnancy together.

THE 4th OF JULY

~Happy 4th of, I mean happy 3rd of July for us~

We celebrated this year on Saturday the 3rd. Our family came over and we cooked hobo dinners in our firepit. My mom got these HUGE marshmellows...they are like 3 in 1. My grandma and Tom came over too and they brought homemade rootbeer, I don't even remember the last time having homemade rootbeer, but it was dang good. Ok and when on the 4th of July should you need a jacket cause it's stinkin cold outside - I say never, but this year we needed one. Here are some pics of those HUGE yummy mellows.

What have we been up to?

We've been busy having fun:  We went to Price the first of May for a Family Reunion. We played "A Minute to Win It" I was trying to find the pennies at the bottom of the panty hose, Kash was busy eating a cookie and Poppie had to bounce the balls out of the tissue box.  If you ever want a  good laugh...play this with your family.

I had a great Mother's Day and so did Kash. We went to Red Lobster. Kash sat with Pa most of the time and eat most of his clam cowder.

Kash has been learning how to swim...that kid is fearless. He is running to Kyle just knowing and trusting that he will catch him.

 

Only a MAN

Ladies, never give your husband the camera and ask him to take picture's of your kid when you go to feed the ducks. Otherwise, this is what he will take...

I would have taken them myself, but I was trying to get it on video. It's an OK picture, just not one of them was of Kash :)
